3rd Shift Maintenance Technician

Grain Millers, Inc., a global leader in whole grain ingredients and one of the largest conventional and organic oat millers in the world, is seeking a dedicated 3rd Shift Maintenance Technician to join our growing team in St. Ansgar, Iowa. This full-time position operates Monday through Friday on 3rd shift (8-hour shifts) and plays a vital role in maintaining the efficiency and reliability of our food-grade production facility. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance (PMs), troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, and ensuring that all equipment is operating safely and efficiently. You'll work closely with production and operations teams to meet performance goals, while also maintaining strict adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and food safety regulations.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in industrial maintenance, welding, or millwright work, though we are willing to train individuals with a solid work history and demonstrate a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn. You should have a background in technical roles and be mechanically inclined, able to work both independently and as part of a team, and comfortable working in various environments-including climbing ladders, navigating catwalks, and adapting to different temperatures. A strong commitment to safety, cleanliness, and food-grade standards is essential.
